Ojai Serenity Retreat | Tranquil Valley Escape

Positive: Fantastic property and wonderful host!

Nice comfortable place to relax and hang out. It is not walking distance to Ojai, but close to a bike path. Positive: It was very nice and comfortable. Negative: The only thing I didn’t like was being in converted garage in a suburban neighborhood.

This was the perfect accommodation for us!!! Positive: We loved the decor, the comfort and warmth of the studio, the attention to detail, the cleanliness and the location. We were in Ojai for our grandson’s graduation from The Thacher HS. The location was perfect for us. We had stayed at local motels/inns in the past. Serenity was by far the best Ojai accommodation we’ve stayed at! The host was extremely accommodating too! Negative: Nothing!

Omg! What a delightful place to stay. The owner has curated the place in the most charming, efficient and comfortable way. The attention to detail was noticed. From the complimentary local tea, organic creamers in fridge and spice collection to the heated patio, comfortable beds, and spacious set up!!!! We were 4 adult women concerned the space would be too small for us but it was the contrary. Square footage was small but the high ceilings, open air concept and furniture layout felt much larger. The owner was very communicative and went out of her way to answer questions about where we could purchase the lovely items in her property. (We wanted to replicate everything at our homes). Definitely recommend this location for anyone wanting to feel that the owner really cared.

Kara’s place blew us away! Beautifully and intentionally designed, this unit transported us from the humdrum of everyday life to a lavish vacation paradise. Everything was squeaky clean and Kara was extremely responsive as a host. We loved it here - wish we could have stayed longer and was sad to have to leave!
